I’m convinced that there’s a strong connection between geeky-ness and music. Music and geeky subjects (science, programming) are all based on a set of rules, but then expect some creative use of those rules to produce amazing output. Plus, musicians and geeks are both pretty good at detecting and re-using patterns they find in others’ work.
Anyway, with that in mind, here are some pretty frickin’ cool musical instruments that the geek in me really wants to play with.
